Teen model headshot session taken in Los Angeles by headshot photographer Robin Lorraine. Here are a few images from this teen headshot and modeling photoshoot. We did 3 different wardrobe changes and changed up the hair a bit with each wardrobe look. The headshots were takent inside both inside the studio and then we stepped outside to get some editorial photos. This teen model has beautiful skin and a very fresh natural look, so we didn't want to apply heavy make up. Just enough make up to bring out her features, but still keep her youthful and natural. Kids headshots and what to wear for your acting headshots

Child actors need headshots just like adults.  Even though they are still "kids" this is a business and all talent agents will require you to have headshots.  Most agents would like to see a few different looks.  This means your child actor will be photographed in several different outfits.  Typically child headshots are shot from the chest up, unless they are also a child model.  Here is an example of a young boys acting headshots showing different looks.  The first acting headshot is a "theatrical headshot" for tv and film roles.

Some agents like to see a "skill shot" that they can use to pitch the actor for commercials that require a skill like sports, music, or dance.  If you are very skilled it can be good to add this look to your child's portfolio.
