Child Headshot Session

Here are some acting headshots with a recent aspiring actress and model.  This beautiful child has amazing eyes, creamy skin and a beautiful smile.  Her actor headshots will be used to meet with a talent agent for both acting and modeling.  When meeting prospective child actors, a talent agent will ask you to bring an 8x10 acting headshot.  The child's headshot should be current and show how they look, but in a way that is engaging.

I love this acting headshot...she looks like a movie star with that confidence and beauty.   The way to open doors is with your child's headshot.  An excellent acting headshot will definitely open doors.

 A child's acting headshot should show confidence but still be youthful and natural.  No  heavy make up like during a pageant or dance recital.  We don't want a 10 year old child to look like they are 16 years old.

Simple hair styles are best.  I do like to photograph a look with the hair up or back off the face for a child's headshot.  Often it brings out the eyes.  I love her eyes in this headshot.

The last shot is to show her body type for modeling.  Her beautiful smile radiates energy and that likeability that casting likes to see for child models and child actors.  Showing this in one of your child's headshots is great for modeling and commercials.

It's that time of the year, pilot season is here!  That means promote and get your kids headshot out to those who should see it.  And hopefully you will have more auditions and be passing them out to casting directors in the room.
