Here's a great opportunity to meet a very busy and wonderful casting director-Lisa London!  Lisa has discovered and cast many young celebrities including Miley Cyrus, Jonah Hill, Emma Stone, Salina Gomez and many more faces you see on tv and the big screen.

She has been in casting  for over twenty years casting such shows as "Suite Life of Zack & Cody", "Roseanne", "Ellen", "Grace Under Fire", "Hannah Montana" and many, many more.  Check out her IMDB to see her past projects and what current shows she cast: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0518740/http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0518740

Lisa recently wrote and published a book "From Start To Stardom" which you can purchase on her website "From Start to Stardom". The book is a must read for all teen actors and parents of child and teen actors.  If you want to know about Disney castings, TV casting and feature films, read this book.  It's easy reading and has interviews with successful young celebrities and how they climbed the ladder to success.  You can buy the e-book and begin reading right away or buy the hardcopy at her book signing.

Some of the topics she covers in her book include actors headshots,  actors resumes, preparing for the audition, behind the casting directors doors & what a casting director looks for.

I recently had the opportunity to Q&A with Lisa during a workshop and she is funny, sweet & very generous with her information. I highly recommend you take the time to meet her in person at http://www.samuelfrench.com/bookstore where she is doing a book signing and will take the time for a Q&A.  It's a great chance to ask questions about Disney castings and get some wonderful insight from someone who auditions & cast child and teen actors all the time.

Child Modeling in Los Angeles

This little guy stole my heart!  He was so natural in front of the camera and such a delight to photograph.  Every once in a while I come across a very young child that has natural instincts when being photographed.  They just seem to be very comfortable and relaxed when you take their photo.

Love the layers and colors that mom brought for the photo shoot.  Bright colors and layers translate very well for child ZED cards and modeling portfolios.

2 year old child model.

Here's one of his full body shots.

Child model.  His agent wanted to see both full body shots and close ups since he models and acts.  Love those pants!

And one of his commercial headshots.

Perfect commercial headshot for a young actor.  Nice eye contact, natural smile and great energy.

A great headshot can open doors--teen headshot session.

Recently wrapped a headshot session with a beautiful, aspiring teen actress.  We did the session, chose the shots she should submit to talent agents and then those images had to be retouched.

Once my re-toucher was done with those I emailed her mom the files.  Within two days her mom emailed me back with exciting news--she had was already contacted by two talent agents and both wanted to bring her in for a meeting!   Her mother said the agent loved her headshots.  And that's how you rock it folks!
